On Monday, January 17, 2022, Downtown Las Vegas welcomes the annual parade into town once again. The parade begins at 10 am, and it’s organized by the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Committee. This is the 40th Annual Birthday Parade, so it’s bound to be a great time. It’s the largest parade in the State of Nevada, and the theme for this year’s parade is “Living the Dream – Setting New Standards.” We can’t wait to see the parade participants this year, and it’s a fun event to take visitors of any age to in Vegas.
This year, Las Vegas is home to Sin City Classic, which is a multi-day LGBTQ+ sports festival. It takes place over the MLK weekend and has become the largest annual LGBTQ+ sporting event worldwide. The event kicks off on January 13, 2022, and will take place throughout various venues in Las Vegas.
